The Paso Robles Inn, a proud member of the Historic Hotels of America, is old school classic California. Although there have been previous versions of the hotel (the last of which burned to the ground in the 1940's), the hotel has always been known for its mineral hot springs and as a local favorite. And because it's situated right on the main drag through Paso Robles (across from the scenic downtown park) it's a perfect place to call home during your stay in northern San Luis Obispo Wine Country.
Charming is what comes to mind when I describe the Paso Robles Inn. It's historic but updated and I love that it has that classic courtyard in the middle with plenty of greenery and hiding places to chill between outtings, or cool off on summer trips at the pool.
There is a great restaurant and coffee shop connected to the hotel that offers yummy food and a fantastic selection of wines. I love grabbing a patio seat in the bar before or after a meal to watch the activites in the park across the street.
After a day out exploring wine country, these rooms are such a lovely retreat. Make sure you request a spa room, so that you can enjoy the mineral hot springs in the privacy of your own room!
