I told you our featured wineries are fun. And there is plenty of proof in the activities they are offering up this summer.
Still Waters Picture Perfect Sunday lived up to its name this past weekend with the music of Local Vocals and some good grub and wine being served up by owner Paul Hoover. It was almost 100 degrees, but there was a nice breeze, and the shade of the old olive tree grove made it, well, perfect.
Calcareous Vineyard is showcasing the Western roots of Central Coast Wine Country. They are partnering with Outback Trail Rides to offer horseback adventures through the vineyards and hills of Paso Robles. Rides at Calcareous are offered on Wednesdays right now, but you can request other days if that fits your schedule better. The rides range from an hour to 3 hours. You get complimentary wine tasting afterwards. And have the option of a picnic lunch. To book your ride, click here.
And don't forget, you can wind down at Calcareous any Wednesday this summer with pizza and wine pairings and extended hours to 7pm up on the hill with the view.
More fun on tap this Friday at Silver Horse Winery, 10 minutes northeast of Paso. Their Friday Fetes are legendary. $10 includes logo glass and your first glass of wine and there is lots of gourmet food to purchase. Bring an appetite, friends and some lawn chairs. The Cuesta Ridge Mountain Boys will be playing. Would love to see you there from 5:30 to 8:30pm.
And welcome to the new batch of members who signed up over the weekend. We know you're going to love being a part of the fun wandering wine club. Cheers!
